Sophomore Head Coach:Riley Conaway
Riley is entering his fourth year as a coach for El Dorado, and his second year as head coach. He recently graduated from California State University, Fullerton, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services. Riley aspires to pass along the knowledge and skills that he has gained as a player and coach at El Dorado. As a coach, his focus is on developing the abilities of each player and preparing them for JV and Varsity basketball.
Freshman Head Coach:Derek Baldwin
This will be Coach Baldwin's fourth year at El Dorado. Having played in the program for four years, he is excited to pass on his knowledge of the game to this year's incoming freshmen team. Coaching players to a expect more of themselves, work harder on a daily basis, and to appreciate their high school basketball experience is the foundation of his coaching philosophy. Currently, he is finishing his final semester at California State University, Fullerton, where he is pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Sociology, with a minor in Public Administration. After completing his degree, he plans to attend graduate school for his Master's degree in Public Administration to work in the public sector. Looking forward to this season, he has high hopes for a year full of growth, good basketball, and memorable experiences for his players.
